PostDoc (bioinformatician)

My research area is in computational functional genomics. I am interested in developing new methods and approaches for single cell omics, spatial transcriptome, expression data analysis, transcriptome annotation, gene regulatory network reconstruction,  alternative splicing analysis, gene signature analysis. I am working on delineating the single cell population in clinical or disease conditions with respect to steady state. I am also interested in integrating the chromatin accessibility data with single cell transcriptomics to decipher the epigenetic control on the transcriptional rewiring at different stages of the tissue and finally interested in understanding the spatial resolution of cell populations at the tissue level to understand colocalization of cellular populations by using spatial transcriptomics.
